Frozen Dinosaur “Eggs”
Frozen dinosaur “eggs”: put small dinosaurs in balloons, fill them with water, and freeze them. Afterward, cut the balloons off, use droppers with warm salt water, and melt until you get the dinosaurs out! This activity is not only fun, but it’s a great fine motor activity as well!
Kinetic Sand
Use fossil molds, volcanoes, and dinosaur toys with kinetic sand for a fun sensory activity!*
Dinosaur Sensory Bin
Put colorful dinosaurs, volcanoes, and fine motor tools in black beans for fun dinosaur sensory bin activities. I found little matching bowls at the Dollar Tree for color sorting. My students LOVED this activity!
Dinosaur Light Table Activity
We loved using these colorful acrylic dinosaurs on the light table! I cut out clear sheet protectors and drew the letter D on them. The students put dinosaurs on the letter D and had fun sorting them by color and shape.
Dinosaur Fine Motor Sorting
Use trays from Dollar Tree to sort dinosaurs by color or shape and add tools like tweezers for extra fine motor practice!
