Button Counting– Use this FREE button counting worksheet to count buttons.
Button Sorting– I love these small colorful plates from Dollar Tree. Draw circles on them to make them look like buttons and have your students or child sort the buttons by color.
Button patterns– Use buttons to make patterns!
Buttons on the Light Table- My students love these translucent buttons and enjoy playing with them on the light table!
Button Lacing– This activity is so simple and great for fine motor skills practice. All you need are jumbo buttons and pipe cleaners, children can have fun lacing the buttons and twisting and untwisting the pipe cleaners.

B is for Bubbles!
Make these fun bubble wands out of pipe cleaners and beads and have some bubble fun! You can make different shapes on the top, like the heart pictured here! Practice measuring and counting by making your own bubble solution.
Bubble Solution:
6 cups of warm water
1/3 cup of glycerin
2/3 cup of dish soap

B is for Bugs!
This is a fun bug sensory bin! Use black beans as the “dirt” and put bug toys, tools, and containers for pretend bug hunting.

B is for Basketball!
This is such a fun fine motor, number recognition, and counting activity! Use craft poms as “basketballs” and use tiny tongs to pick them up and put them in the basket. I found these cute basketball cups and wrote numbers on the basket. You can also leave them blank and have the students put as many basketballs as they can in the cup.

B is for Bumblebee!
Bumblee Pattern Bracelet- Use black and yellow beads and pipe cleaners to make this easy bumblebee bracelet!
Bumblebee Craft- This is such a cute craft! We make this for the letter B page in our alphabet books.

Bumblebee Sensory Bin- Add honeycomb ice trays and bumble bees or yellow craft poms to black beans for a fun bee sensory bin! Add tools like three prong tongs and tweezers for extra fine motor fun!

B is for Beachball!
Beach Ball Alphabet Game- Take turns passing the beachball to each other. Identify the letter your hand lands on or what lands on the top. If your students are still working on identifying letters, you can write more Bs on the ball and have them find a B when they get the ball.

B is for Balloons!
Balloon Toss: Have fun tossing balloons and catching them! I put each child’s name on the balloon to help with name recognition.
Balloon Bulletin Board Paper Activity: Draw strings on bulletin board paper and have the students put dot stickers or use dot markers to make the balloons. Add numbers for a fun number recognition and counting activity!
