D is for dog (and dachshund!). As a dachshund owner, I loved reading these books in my classroom, so cute!
D is for Duck!
Duck craft- make a duck out of the letter D! We love putting these crafts together to make an alphabet book!
Five Little Ducks– Have fun singing the song and reading the book. This activity is great to learn about subtraction and number recognition.
Tiny Ducks– These are so cute and great to use for counting activities and one-to-one correspondence.
D is for Donuts!
- Donut Craft- Children can practice their scissor skills while learning about the letter D! Cut out a donut and strips of colorful paper. Students can cut “sprinkles” by cutting up the strips of paper and gluing them on the donuts.
- Donut Math Pack- We love using these donut erasers to count with. You can find this math pack in my store!
- Donut Stickers- These donut stickers are perfect to put on the letter D!
- Donut Sprinkles Fine Motor Activity- Print out donuts and cut up pipe cleaners to make pretend sprinkles. Children can pick up the sprinkles with tweezers and place them on the donut. This can also be a counting game and they can count how many sprinkles they put on the donut.
