V is for Volcano!
- Volcano Baking Soda and Vinegar Experiment: you can’t learn about the letter V without taking about volcanoes! Make a volcano with red food coloring, baking soda, and vinegar. I made a volcano out of clap and put a small water bottle inside where I put the baking soda. I then poured vinegar with red dye into the bottle and we had fun watching the volcano erupt!


- Volcano Sensory Activity: We love adding these fun volcanoes to kinetic sand or other sensory bins! My students also like using them as a mold to make volcanoes out of play dough.
- Volcano craft: Make a volcano out of the letter V and use red, yellow, and orange tissue paper to make the lava.
V is for Vegetables!

V is for Vase!
Make this cute vase craft with the vase made out of the letter V and flowers in the vase!


V is for Video Games!
Talking about video games during letter V week is always very exciting! I found these fun video game controller containers at Dollar Tree and used them as a fine motor letter find with these video game activity worksheets.


V is for Visor!
We love making name visors during letter V week! You can find foam visors on Amazon and either write names on or put letter stickers on them. This is also a fun activity to help with letter and name recognition.


V is for Violet!
Learn about the color violet and talk about where it falls on the rainbow. Have fun with different violet colored objects on the light table!

Make a vulture craft out of the letter V. We love making letter animals and putting them together to make a book!



V is for Vegetables!
Have fun learning about the letter V with vegetables!
*Vegetable felt board fun- use vegetable pictures on the felt board.
*Vegetable painting- Peppers, celery stalks, and broccoli prints turn into pretty flowers!
*Vegetable collage- have fun cutting out vegetable pictures out of magazines to make a fun collage!
